FAQs

Where do trainings take place?

Resilient Peeps works primarily in the Bay Area, but also plans trips according to demand across CA.

Individual and group sessions can be conducted in your home or virtually.

Family sessions must be at your home and in-person (unless all family members are 14+)

Workplace sessions are recommended to be held at the office, but can also be hosted virtually.

What's the difference between the trainings?

Individual sessions focus on single-person household needs, though heads of households will also benefit if a group/family training isn't possible.

Family sessions cover whole-household preparation and are customized to include the children and seniors in the family constellation with age-appropriate materials and training. They're ideal for families that want to train together and for parents looking for child-friendly support

Group sessions are for friends, communities, or neighbors who want to train together.

Workplace sessions are for employers or HR reps who want to provide a unique benefit to their employees via training, digital resources, and a complimentary company go-bag.

How long are your training sessions?

All trainings are 90-minute long with a follow-up Q&A and initial implementation support. Sessions typically run for a total of 2-3 hours.

Do I need any special preparation?

The only preparation you'll have is to respond to a brief questionnaire before your training to help us tailor it to your specific needs.

We'll provide all other training materials.

What topics do you cover?

We cover:
- Importance of emergency resilience
- Local hazards
- Staying informed
- Household preparedness
